Kolkata To Nainital 6 Days Trip Plan- Day 1

As because a hill station Nainital is not directly connected by railway station or airport. So reach New Delhi first and then go to Nainital by road via NH 87. It will take 6-7 hours from New Delhi to reach Nainital by car. The distance of Nainital from Kathgodam is 34 Km whic is the nearest railway station to Nainital.  You can also reach Nainital by road via Kathgodam.

Kolkata To Nainital 6 Days Trip Plan- Day-2

On day 2 morning, visit  Cheena Peak, bhimtal and satttal. The fare of the local cab varies between Rs2200 to Rs3500, depending on the number of seats available. 

Cheena Peak- It is the beautiful place offers a breath taking sunrise view and a panoramic view of the Himalayas. 

Bhimtal- Over whelmingly impressive, its a beautiful lake with crystal clear blue water and an ideal destination for the nature lovers. 

Sattal- Another lake which is an interconnected group of seven freshwater lakes. The place is surrounded by trees. The place also offers a number of activities including: Parasailing Paragliding Boating Bird watching Nature Walks. 

Govin Ballabh Pant Zoo- On your way back to nainital. Visit Govinballabh Panth Zoo. The Zoo remain closed on Monday and on Public holidays. In The evening, walk around the Mall road and enjoy shopping a the local, which is sometimes more important to please your relatives (Its reality).

On Day 3 go for a full day excursion to Mukteshwar. Cab fare revolves around Rs 3000 for a day. Located in the Kumaon Hills, its a popular tourist destination. On 5th day, go for Jim Corbett National Park Safari. Enjoy the pleasant climate of the place amidst the green surrounding. The park houses more than 500 species of animals, reptiles and birds. Wildlife of the park includes the Tiger, the Leopard, slot Bear, Jungle Cat, Fishing Cat, Wild Boar, Langur and Rhesus Monkeys, Gharial and Muggar Crocodiles.The park was open from 16th November to 15th June. The total area of this reserve forest is 1288 sq.km and the park is divided into 5 tourism zone- dhikala, bijrani, domunda,sonanadi and jhirna. Among these the best zone is dhikala. In dhikala zone, you canavail cantar safari once in a day. The timing is from 6'O clock in the morning till 12 noon.The other 4 zones offer jeep safari twice per day, each of 3 hours duration. Jeep safari Cost Rs 3650 for 6 people whereas Cost of canter safari Rs 1475 per person.
